# Review: Aberfan documentary chronicles village's fight for justice

The Guardian reviews a documentary about Aberfan, the Welsh village devastated by a 1966 colliery spoil-tip collapse that killed 144 people, including 116 children. It focuses on the families' and survivors' long struggle for justice and the contempt they faced. The review argues their treatment is sickening and underscores the importance of accountability.
