# Soucek scores twice as West Ham thrash nine-man Lincoln 6-0

West Ham United beat Lincoln City 6-0 in a cup tie, with Tomas Soucek scoring twice against opponents reduced to nine men. Lincoln's two red cards left them badly outnumbered, allowing West Ham to run up a lopsided scoreline. The result sends West Ham through comfortably, though the match was overshadowed by the dismissals rather than any great contest.
